Dr. John Highsmith is a graduate of Davidson College, the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, the Misch Implant Institute, and the International College of Oral Implantology (ICOI). He did his residency at the VA Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland before his additional training in cosmetic, implant, and neuromuscular dentistry. In addition to this solid education, Dr. Highsmith takes far more than the minimum number of yearly continuing education hours required by the state. He has even been a clinical lab instructor to other dentists at LVI, the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies! On top of all of that, Dr. Highsmith is one of five dentists in the world who have earned their Diplomate in The International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Accredited membership in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
