Dr. Highsmith's dental practice is based on his extensive background in dental work. He received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College and his dental degree from the University of North Carolina. Afterwards, he did a residency at the VA Medical Center in Baltimore and additional training in cosmetic dentistry.
This extensive educational background has been supplemented by many continuing education courses through the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Dr. Highsmith is also a member of many dental societies, including the American Dental Association, the NC Dental Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Amerian College of Oral Implantology.
